Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS) Uttaranchal University, Dehradun organized Faculty Orientation Program on 06 August, 2022. The objective of the program was to understand the roles and responsibilities of the faculty members and disseminate the effective academic practices to be followed in the academic year 2022-2023.
Dr. Vikash Jakhmola, Dean UIPS addressed essential academic aspects and suggested the faculty members to follow them accordingly and execute effectively. He also advised the faculty members to cooperate with the head of department, examination controller as per academic rules and regulations. Sir has also briefed about the structure and functioning of the institution and also discussed about the quality research parameters.
Dr. Amit Semwal, HOD UIPS gives information regarding the NAAC Accreditation and related Criteria I –VII along with roles and responsibilities towards institution as well as university. Sir has also discussed about functioning of library, formation of research identities, departmental club responsibilities. Dr. Tarun Parashar discuss about the examination and evaluation process in all the Programs (D. Pharm., B.Pharm. and M. Pharm.) and also discuss about ERP functioning. Mrs. Pallavi Ghildiyal explains about the Mentor-Mentee, their role and responsibilities to the new faculty members. The event was coordinated by Mrs. Jyotsana Suyal and all the faculties were present in the event.
