Uttaranchal University on 23 April 2022, on World Book Day, and English Language Day released three books in a remarkable way. Books titled, “Digital Forensics and Internet of Things- Impact and Challenges” Edited by Dr. Anita Gehlot and Dr. Rajesh Singh, “Image Processing in Renewable Energy Resources: Opportunities and Challenges”, edited by Dr. Rajesh Singh and Dr. Anita Gehlot, “Literature and Emotions- The Intangible Concepts” edited by Dr. V Bhuvaneswari , An Insight into the LGBTQ+ Community and their Literature edited by Dr. Pinky Chugh were released by the hon’ble Chancellor Shri. Jitender Joshi. It was indeed a proud moment for the University to celebrate World Book Day in a meaningful way, which would inspire both the writing and the reading community. The occasion was graced by the presence of Prof. (Dr.) Dharam Buddhi Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Bahuguna Pro Vice-Chancellor and Dr. Abhishek Joshi Director Student Affairs & IT Services, Prof .(Dr.) Shravan Kumar, Dean SLA, and Prof. (Dr.) Anil Kumar Dixit.
