Blood Health check-up Camp by Student Council

A Blood Health check-up Camp was organized for the impoverished, providing free, high-quality medical treatments, as well as full-body medical checkups on April 11, 2022, at the health care center of Uttaranchal University. The camp was held in collaboration with Path Kind Lab of Dehradun and the Student Council with Uttaranchal College of Nursing under the aegis of the Student Welfare Office of Uttaranchal University. At 7:20 a.m., three members of the Lab team, comprising two Consultant Pathologists and one Assistant, arrived at the College. Prof. (Dr.) Shravan Kumar, DSW, Dr. Babu D, Dean of Uttaranchal College of Nursing, Dr. Kartikey, Dy DSW inaugurated the event and encouraged students, instructors, and other faculty members to participate in the blood health check-up camp in order to stay healthy and fit. The lab gave a free blood examination as well as free Blood Sugar, Cholesterol, and TSA tests. Path Kind Lab is also offering a 10% discount on any leftover diagnostic tests in its lab.


The Health Check-up attracted over 200 academics, staff, and students from all branches, as well as members of the Student Council. The registration process was executed through QR code. Under the direction of the Dean of Student Welfare Dr. Shravan Kumar and Dy. DSW Dr. Kartikey, the Camp was successfully arranged. Ms. Sheerin, Assistant Professor, UCN and volunteers coordinated the entire camp.
