Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Uttaranchal University, Dehradun organizes an Industrial visit to Ipca Laboratories Ltd., Sara Estate, Dehradun, Uttarakhand on 4th March 2022 Total 50 students of B Pharm 3rdyearvisited. IpcaLaboratories Pvt. Ltd. has made a name for itself in the list of top suppliers in India. The supplier company is located in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, and is one of the leading sellers of various products which is listed in Trade India’s list of verified sellers offering supreme quality of drug products.
During the visit, the students were guided by Mr. C M Bhandari, AGM Production, Ipca Laboratories Ltd) about the organization and working of Production, Quality Control and Quality Assurance Departments. Students visited the company’s Manufacturing Area, Quality Assurance, Packaging. Here they were explained about dispensing area, granulation process, compression process, coating of tablets, and also provided knowledge about different types of packaging i.e., primary packaging, secondary packaging, and tertiary packaging. The visit to the company was very fruitful as the students got a good knowledge of the production of tablets and capsules from the experts.
The visit proved to be extremely beneficial for the students as it provided information about the whole manufacturing process of the solid dosage form and very closely interacted with the experts and learn some technical handling of the formulation during manufacturing and packaging. The students extended their gratitude towards Hon’ble Chancellor Shri Jitender Joshi, Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Dharam Buddhi, and Dean-UIPS, Prof. (Dr.) Vikash Jakhmola for facilitating the organization of the visit. The industrial visit was coordinated by Dr. Tarun Parashar and Mrs. Jyotsana Suyal.
