Finance Club of Uttaranchal Institute of Management, Uttaranchal University organized a Webinar on ROBOTICS AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN FINANCE- CHANGED DYNAMICS on 16th February 2022 through the virtual platform. The event emphasized on making students aware about how finance industry is considering Robotic Process Automation(RPA) as one of the essential parts for providing best user experiences to the stakeholders.
CA Rubneet Anand, Manager, Corporate Planning, SML Isuzu Limited was the eminent speaker for the said webinar. Master of Ceremony, Ms Neeti Misra hosted the webinar for all Management and Computer Application students and welcomed all the dignitaries.
Prof (Dr) Pradeep Suri, Dean, UIM, Uttaranchal University discussed how Artificial Intelligence has transformed our lives and how easier it has become to detect scams happening in the corporate world nowadays with the help of technology. He concluded his talk by saying that everyone should be able to live, learn, work and participate in the digital world.
CA Rubneet discussed how Artificial intelligence techniques are rapidly replacing the human tasks in the organisations, wherein the Robotic Process Automation technology identifies those tasks which are repetitive in nature and human participation can be replaced with machines. She gave exemplary research based facts and mentioned that according to Forbes, 70% of financial firms are using machine learning to predict cash flow events, adjust credit scores and detect frauds and she also explained about how Financial Firms are using AI & ROBOTICS in the Financial Sector. Other relevant topics covered were Industry 4.0, Big Data, The Human Challenge with Digital Finance- “The Fears”, RPA and Artificial Intelligence future…Emerging trends and the discussion was ended with the brief talk on how to build a career in AI and Machine Learning
The webinar was very interactive & informative & was a great success and attended by more than 950 Students from Management and Computer Application Department of Uttaranchal Institute of Management, Uttaranchal University. At the end, the Master of Ceremony proposed a vote of thanks to all the dignitaries & students.
The webinar was also attended by HoD, Management Dr Megha Agarwal, HoD, Computer Applications, Dr Sonal Sharma and Mr Abhishek Kumar Pathak, Head Cultural & Academic Events (UIM) along with other Faculty Members of Uttaranchal Institute of Management, Uttaranchal University.
