Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS), Uttaranchal University, organized a Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) on 26 September 2026 to strengthen communication between parents and faculty members and to discuss students’ academic performance and overall development.
The meeting was initiated by Dr. Yogita Tyagi, HOD, UIPS, under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Vikash Jakhmola, Director, UIPS. Dr. Yogita Tyagi warmly welcomed the parents and highlighted the importance of regular interaction between parents and teachers in supporting students’ academic growth and discipline.
The class coordinators interacted with parents regarding students’ academic performance, attendance, punctuality, classroom behavior, discipline, and participation in academic activities. Individual concerns related to students’ progress were also discussed, and parents were encouraged to share their suggestions and feedback.
Parents actively participated in the discussions and shared their perspectives and concerns. The interaction provided a valuable platform for constructive dialogue and encouraged a collaborative approach towards improving students’ academic performance and overall development.
At the conclusion of the meeting, participating parents were requested to complete the feedback form. The feedback will help the institute identify areas for improvement and further enhance its academic, teaching, and organizational practices.
The meeting was coordinated by Ms. Prinsa, Assistant Professor; Ms. Muskan, Assistant Professor; and Ms. Pooja Negi, Assistant Professor, UIPS. The meeting concluded on a positive note with meaningful interaction, constructive feedback, and active participation from parents and faculty members.
