Uttaranchal University, spearheaded by the Department of Civil Engineering, UIT, formally executed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Adani Cement on June 12, 2026, under the flagship 'FutureX' initiative. The agreement aims to bridge classroom education with real-world industry demands, nurturing next-generation leaders in sustainable infrastructure.
The signing ceremony was graced by Adani Cement delegates Mr. Vivek Saini, Regional Technical Services Head (RSO-UTK), and Mr. Pankaj Rawat, Technical Services Engineer, Dehradun. Uttaranchal University’s leadership was represented by Shri Jitendra Joshi, President; Ms. Ankita Joshi, Vice President; Prof. (Dr.) Dharam Buddhi, Vice Chancellor; Dr. Anuj Kumar Rana, Registrar; Prof. (Dr.) Sumit Chaudhary, Director of UIT; Dr. Gaurav Thakur, Head of the Department of Civil Engineering; and Mr. Loknath Kumar, Assistant Professor.
