As part of the ongoing NAAC
preparation process and a mandatory initiative coordinated by the Central
Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Uttaranchal University organized a review
meeting on 27 May 2026 to strengthen documentation and data management under
Criterion-I for the Academic Year 2025-26.
The meeting was chaired by Dr.
Madhu Kirola, University Head (Criterion-I), and coordinated by Dr. Mohsin
Ikram, University Coordinator (Criterion-I), with participation from
Criterion-I coordinators representing various academic schools and departments
of the University.
The deliberations focused on
ensuring consistency, completeness, and quality of documentation, including the
preparation of articulation matrices, organization of metric-wise evidence,
adherence to document formatting standards, and submission of duly
authenticated records. Participants were also sensitized regarding the
importance of maintaining accurate supporting documents and timelines for data
submission.
The meeting further reviewed
challenges encountered during documentation and discussed measures for
streamlining data collection and evidence management. Inputs were also shared
regarding employer feedback collection through the University ERP system.
The review exercise was
facilitated under the supervision of Er. Rajesh Deorari, Director, IQAC, with
coordination support from Er. Sudhir Jugran, Assistant Manager, Central IQAC,
as part of the University's systematic efforts towards ensuring quality
assurance and robust NAAC documentation practices for AY 2025-26.
All concerned coordinators were
advised to submit the requisite data and supporting evidence within the
prescribed timelines.
