The students of B.Sc. Maths and B.Sc. Data Science from the School of Applied and Life Sciences (SALS) undertook an educational visit to the Manali, Himachal Pradesh from 12th April to 15th April 2026. A total of 22 students took part in the trip, accompanied by two faculty members, Dr.Shipra Shah and Mr. Kamlesh Singh Rawat who ensured proper guidance, safety, and coordination throughout the journey. The group traveled together with enthusiasm and maintained discipline during the entire trip.
During the visit, students explored the scenic beauty of Manali, including its mountains, Anjani Mahadev Temple, near Solang Valley, where a natural ice lingam forms beneath the waterfall, Hadimba Devi Temple, the Atal Tunnel. The trip offered a refreshing break from academic routines and helped students learn informally through real-life experiences. They engaged in sightseeing, group activities, and interactive sessions that promoted teamwork and cooperation. Overall, the Manali trip was a successful and memorable experience for everyone involved. It not only provided relaxation and enjoyment but also contributed to the personal growth, confidence, and bonding among students and faculty.
