This visit was exclusively arranged for management students from 6 April, 2025 to 10 April, 2025 with the objective of enhancing their practical understanding of business environments, heritage-based economies, and traditional industry operations.
The tour was designed to provide real-world exposure to the functioning of local entrepreneurship, tourism, and small-scale industries, and how they contribute to regional development. It aimed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and practical application by immersing students in various managerial aspects.
On the first day, students arrived in Jaipur and explored major tourist and economic landmarks such as the Albert Hall Museum, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, City Palace, and Jal Mahal. These visits illustrated how cultural heritage is leveraged for tourism-driven business models, creating opportunities in heritage management.
The second day featured visits to Amber Fort and Nahargarh Fort, along with interactive exposure to local crafts and artisan-led enterprises. Students gained insights into Jaipur’s renowned handicraft and textile sectors, observing how these industries operate efficiently with limited resources while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction.
On the third day, en route to Agra, students visited Fatehpur Sikri. In Agra, they explored the Baby Taj (Itimad-ud-Daulah’s Tomb), learning about the intersection of historical significance and tourism-based business positioning.
The final day concluded with visits to Agra Fort and the Taj Mahal, followed by a market walk through Sadar Bazaar. Here, students analyzed local business operations, tourist service management, and retail strategies used by small vendors in high-footfall areas.
This industrial visit proved to be a valuable learning experience, allowing management students to effectively connect theoretical knowledge with on-ground business practices.
