Uttaranchal Institute of Technology (UIT) at Uttaranchal University, in partnership with ICT Academy – Infosys Foundation, has launched a two-week finishing school programme designed to boost the employability of final-year B.Tech CSE students. The training, centred on Robotic Process Automation (RPA), is split into two phases: the first three days focus on soft skills development, while the latter part allows students to gain hands-on experience working on live projects and bots. With only 65 seats available, the programme has seen intense competition, with students required to clear four post-assessments with high scores and maintain an 80% attendance rate to qualify.

The training kicked off with a lamp-lighting ceremony, which was attended by key figures from ICT Academy, including Mr Aditya, along with professional trainers Ms Gyaneshwari and Nitin Jagtap, who led the soft skills sessions, and Mr Vinit Dogra, who will guide students in RPA. Dr Sumit Chaudhary, Director, UIT, delivered the welcome address, emphasising the significance of such training in today’s competitive job market. The event was coordinated by Ms Roosha Shamoon. This programme offers students a unique opportunity to acquire essential skills, preparing them for recruitment processes and real-time work environments. High-performing students will be awarded a prestigious certificate from Infosys. Through this initiative, Uttaranchal University continues its commitment to student success, bridging the gap between academia and industry expectations.
