Law College Dehradun, under the aegis of Youth Parliament Society, successfully hosted the 6th  edition of the National Youth Parliament and Model United Nations on 29th & 30th November 2024 marking a significant milestone in fostering discussions on crucial national and international issues. The two-day conference was tailored to address diverse dimensions of policymaking and diplomacy. These committees included the All-India Political Parties Meet (AIPPM), Lok Sabha, United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, International/ Indian Press (IP). The inaugural ceremony was graced by the presence of the Hon'ble Member of Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly, Shri Sahdev Singh Pundir, as the Chief Guest and his address marked an inspiring start to the conference. The esteemed dignitaries were Shri Jitender Joshi, President, Uttaranchal University, Prof (Dr) Dharm Budhhi, Vice-Chancellor, Prof (Dr) Rajesh Bahuguna, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Prof (Dr) Poonam Rawat, Principal, Law College Dehradun and Dr Bhawna Arora, Chairperson of Youth Parliament Society. 

Ms Anushka Singh, Secretary General of the event formally declared the LCDMUN 6.0 open. The event witnessed delegates engaging actively in their respective committees, setting a high standard of debate and discussion which was witnessed by visit of Ms Ankita Joshi, Vice- President, Uttaranchal University. Dr Abhishek Joshi, Director Student Affairs & IT Services, Uttaranchal University was the Guest of Honor for the valedictory ceremony. 

Aryan Pandey and Shakshi Sharma bagged the title of Best Delegate in UNGA & UNODC respectively. Ayush Ranjan stood as Best Representative in AIPPM committee, while Raunak Upmanyu got the title of Best Parliamentarian in Lok Sabha. The Best Journalist in IP was Shrishti Shukla and the Best Photographer award was won by Sadhanya Dhyani. 

Ms Anushka Singh, Secretary General, LCDMUN 6.0 concluded the event on a triumphant note, and was followed by a vote of thanks by Ms Vanshita Mandrawal, Deputy Secretary General.
