The Uttaranchal Institute of Technology celebrated Engineer’s Day with grandeur during a two-day mega event on September 12 and 13 September 2024.
The celebrations began with a formal inauguration ceremony. Shri Jitender Joshi, President and Smt. Anuradha Joshi, Vice- Chairperson were the chief guests. Prof (Dr) Dharam Buddhi, Vice-Chancellor, Prof (Dr) Rajesh Bahuguna, Pro Vice- Chancellor and Mr K B Pokhariyal, Controller of Examination also graced the occasion along with all the HoDs and faculty members.
The first day was packed with a series of academic and cultural events, including challenging competitions like Web War, Crack Code, Cosplay, BGMI Badshah IGL, Engineers’ got Talent etc.
The second day witnessed the grand inauguration of the new UIT building. The state-of-the-art infrastructure was formally unveiled in the presence of the university’s high-profile dignitaries. The new building is expected to enhance the teaching-learning experience.
The two-day celebration was a remarkable success, reinforcing the spirit of engineering and innovation at UIT. At the end of the program, Prof (Dr) Sumit Chaudhary, Director, UIT congratulated and thanked all the members of faculty for putting in their vigorous efforts in making this entire event a success and encouraged all of them.
