Uttaranchal School of Computing Sciences, Uttaranchal University, Dehradun, successfully organized a two-day workshop on "Exploring Blockchain and IBM WATSON" from 7th to 8th October 2024. The event provided students with an opportunity to delve into the foundational concepts of blockchain technology and gain hands-on experience with IBM WATSON’s AI capabilities. The expert of the workshop was Dr Mayank Agarwal, Professor, Gurukul Kangri University, Haridwar.
Dr Agarwal explained Artificial Intelligence and IBM Watson for developing machine learning models, offering a blend of theoretical and practical insights. His interactive session, using real-world examples, helped students understand the technology and gain hands-on experience in creating applications.
During the valedictory session, certificates were presented to the students by Prof (Dr) Sonal Sharma, Director, USCS, Dr Mayank Agarwal, Professor, Gurukul Kangri University and Dr Sameer Dev Sharma, HoD, USCS.
The event was successfully coordinated by Dr Aarti Kashyap and Mr. Deepak Bhatt with the support of Ms. Manisha Saini, Ms. Manisha Khanduja and Mr. Ashish Bhatt.
