The Alumni Cell of Uttaranchal Institute of Technology (UIT), under Uttaranchal University, successfully organized an insightful online "Alumni 1-hour Workshop" on 17 September 2024. This engaging session was designed to strengthen the bond between current students and the institute’s alumni, providing students with valuable guidance and strategies for their professional journeys.
The session featured Ms Ananya Sharma, a distinguished alumna from the Batch of 2018-2022, pursuing her MS in Data Science from the Technical University of Braunschweig who shared her experience and expertise in preparing for placements, addressing the growing demands of the tech industry, and offering practical advice on career preparation. Her words of wisdom resonated with the attendees, making the event both educational and inspiring.
Ms Pratibha Dimri, Assistant Professor, CSE coordinated the event with the support of a dedicated team of student coordinators, including Ms Soumya Srivastava, Ms Shreya Gupta, Ms Amesha, Ms Apeksha Pandey, Ms Nidhi, Mr Shivansh Seluriyal, and Mr Shubham Singh from the CSE Department.
The workshop concluded with a lively interactive session, allowing students to ask questions and seek guidance from Ms. Ananya Sharma. The event wrapped up with a formal vote of thanks by Ms Pratibha Dimri, marking the end of a fruitful and enriching experience for all participants. It was a great success with the support of Prof (Dr) Sumit Chaudhary, Director UIT, and Dr Madhu Kirola, HoD UIT, and all the coordinators involved.
