An Educational visit to DNA Labs

Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Uttaranchal University, Dehradun organized a Lab Visit/ Educational Trip on 03 September 2024 for I Year students of M Pharm Pharmacology and Pharmaceutical Chemistry at DNA Labs–A Centre for Applied Sciences (DLCAS), Jhajra Dehradun, Uttarakhand. This visit aimed to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical application by immersing M Pharm students in a professional laboratory environment. The experience provided them with first hand exposure to advanced research techniques and diagnostic tools, enhancing their understanding of pharmacological research. It also served as a catalyst for inspiring future careers in research and development, while strengthening the relationship between academia and industry through direct engagement and collaboration. 

The visit was coordinated by Dr Nidhi Gairola, HOD UIPS, and Dr Supriyo Saha, Associate Professor UIPS, under the guidance of Prof (Dr) Vikash Jakhmola, Director, UIPS. Dr Narrotam Sharma, Scientist and Head DNA Labs, including their Team, played a crucial role in facilitating the visit and providing valuable insights to the students.
