Guest Lecture on ‘Innovators' Nexus: Connecting Ideas, Fuelling Ventures’

 

The Entrepreneurship Club (E-Cell) of Uttaranchal Institute of Management, Uttaranchal University organized a guest lecture on “Innovators' Nexus: Connecting Ideas, Fueling Ventures” on 24 April 2024. The event aimed to equip students with insights crucial for startup success. Dr Juhi Garg, Founder & CEO of DivIn Pro Pvt Ltd., graced the occasion with her profound experience in entrepreneurship and startups.  

The event commenced with a welcome address by Prof (Dr) Pradeep Suri, Dean, UIM. During his opening address, Prof Suri highlighted several key points essential for startup success, emphasizing effective representation, careful business selection, thorough risk analysis, innovative thinking, online business opportunities, understanding customer needs, funding options, and investor perspectives. 

As the guest lecture commenced, Dr Juhi Garg captivated the audience with her insights into the dynamic world of entrepreneurship. Dr Garg shared her experiences and perspectives on entrepreneurship, recounting her career journey since 2003, emphasizing the importance of identifying market needs, client and customer engagement, types of innovation, identifying business opportunities, and fostering open discussion with students interested in entrepreneurship, innovation, and startup culture. Dr. Garg underscored the significance of leveraging technology and digital innovation to drive business growth, urging students to stay abreast of emerging trends and harness the power of digital platforms for strategic advantage. The guest lecture provided invaluable insights and inspiration to aspiring entrepreneurs, equipping them with the knowledge and motivation to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams. 

As the end, Dr Rekha Verma, Associate Professor at UIM and Head of E-Cell, UIM, extended her heartfelt gratitude to all who have contributed to its success. She expressed sincere appreciation to the esteemed speaker Dr Juhi Garg, for sharing her estimable insights and wisdom with the student community, enlightening them on the path to entrepreneurship.
