Prof (Dr) Sonal Sharma, Dean USCS felicitated the expert speakers. She addressed the students that Innovation is the cornerstone of progress, and it is in forums like this where groundbreaking ideas are conceived, nurtured, and brought to fruition.
Prof Singh discussed the application of IoT in different sectors such as healthcare, agriculture, manufacturing, logistics, smart cities, and key factors that contribute to successful innovation in the IoT domain.
Prof Gehlot explained the software Arduino followed by the programming required in the usage of Circuit Designing. She showcased a small project that combines multiple components and programming concepts (e.g., a light-controlled LCD, relay) and their connections.
The workshop was completed with practical sessions on the “Arduino Bo to familiarize students with the Arduino platform, basic electronic components, and programming syntax. Under the guidance of Dr Sameer Dev Sharma, HoD, USCS, the workshop was coordinated by Mr Abhishek Pathak, Ms Manisha Saini and Ms Divya Pandey with the support of student volunteers.
