The Globe Club, Uttaranchal Institute of Management, Uttaranchal University in collaboration with Jai Youth Wing Shri Nityanand Swami Jan Sewa Samiti, organized Shiksha Daan on 6 October 2023, that radiated the spirit of education and community service. This activity Conducted at Arya Samaj Laxman Chowk, Dehradun, where the young minds of the Arya Samaj Laxman Chowk were the focal point.
Siksha Daan, an educational initiative conducted by UIM, Uttaranchal University for school students, is a commendable effort that holds the potential to create a positive impact on the future of our youth. This initiative reflected the commitment of higher education institutions to give back to the community and play an active role in nurturing young minds. The Dengue Awareness session was led by Mr Anshul Singh Bhati and Mr Amanjot Singh Bhogal of BBA V semester, UIM. The aim of the session reflected a commitment to community well-being. By educating school students about Dengue and other health-related issues, the UIM contributed to the creation of a culture of health awareness. School students can actively participate in community clean-up efforts, implement preventive measures, and promote a cleaner, mosquito-free environment.
This initiative was guided under the visionary leadership of Prof (Dr) Pradeep Suri, Dean UIM. The unwavering support of Mr Vinayak Sharma, President of Jai Youth Wing Shri Nityanand Swami Jan Sewa Samiti, added an invaluable dimension to the event. Dr Tillotama Singh, Head of the Department of Management, Mr Rohit Dhiman, Assistant Professor, UIM and Mr Manish Ghalwan, Assistant Professor coordinated the event.
Dengue awareness session, as Siksha Daan initiative played a crucial role in building a well-informed and healthy society. By educating the youth, the UIM, Uttaranchal University has invested in a healthier and more aware future.
