Empowering Futures: FINTECH Club Workshop on Stock Trading and Investment Strategies at Uttaranchal University

 

FINTECH Club, UIM, Uttaranchal University organized a Workshop on “How to Start Trading and Analyze the Securities for Right Investment Decisions” on 13 October 2023 for the students of MBA, BBA & B.Com Programs. Mr Raj Pandey, Financial Planner and Adviser, currently working as a Corporate Trainer with United Resourcing Services Pvt. Ltd. & Founder of Fiduciary Financial Advisors was the speaker and trainer for the event. The objective of the event is to enhance the skills and knowledge of the students in stock trading analysis. The Guest was welcomed by Prof (Dr) Pradeep Suri, Dean, UIM. He addressed the students about the importance of Money, the various sources of earning money and the importance of Stock Trading with combating risk involved in trading. 

Mr Raj Pandey, the speaker in his address shared his knowledge and experience towards managing the Share Trading in Global and Domestic Markets. He focussed on how to start trading and analyze the Securities and various tools of Fundamental and Technical Analysis associated with virtual trading and about regular investment in securities through a balanced portfolio and mitigating the risk associated with all movements and trends of market fluctuations.  gave practical training to the students on stock trading and livestock trading session was done with the students. 

The students actively participated in the virtual stock trading game that helped in raising their skills, analysing market trends and equity market share trading. The session was interactive, and the students had one-to-one interaction with the Speaker and resolved their queries. At the end, a Vote of thanks was proposed by Dr Tilottama Singh, HoD, UIM. The event was coordinated by Ms Neeti Misra, Head, FINTECH Club, UIM and committee members Mr Vasim Ahmed, Ms Reva Vij and Ms Meenakshi Sharma, Assistant Professors, UIM, Uttaranchal University. The event was an enormous success.
