With an intend to bolster the growth of the students and to familiarise them with the importance of digital transformation, Uttaranchal Institute of Management (UIM), Uttaranchal University, organised an International Webinar titled “Every Crisis is an Opportunity: How Digital Transformation Paves Road to Business Success” on 13 September 2023. This program was an endeavour to deeply enrich the knowledge of all participants and provide them with learning insights on every crisis is an opportunity with specific reference to the Digital Transformation for business success.
Dr. Michael Baron, CEO, Baron Consulting Group was present as a keynote speaker on the occasion.
At the outset, Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Suri, Dean, UIM, addressed the gathering and welcomed the eminent keynote speaker of the day. He stated that the digital world has improved the work by improving collaboration. Australia has been the leader of the technology. Now, India is also picking up the pace, and we too have bright future ahead. He reiterated the benefit the students will acquire from the immense and versatile knowledge domain and experience of Dr. Michael Baron.
The Speaker Dr. Michael Baron imparted knowledge to the students and focused on various key points during the session. He emphasized on the integration of digital technologies into all aspects of business operations and highlighted that technology is the driving force behind the business success and discussed on the Digital Transformation Stages and Digital transformation principles, he spoke about the current dynamic scenario with focus on creating futures, establishing Protocols for operating in the ‘BRAVE NEW WORLD’. He further shared his recent digital transformation projects with students and also elaborated on the challenges, benefits and future of the Digital Transformation. The Vote of thanks to all the eminent resource persons, dignitaries, technical and supportive team and participants was proposed by Dr. Tilottama Singh, HoD Management who emphasised on the importance of international collaboration and such informative session by our guest speaker.
