Uttaranchal School of Computing Sciences, Uttaranchal University, organized the "Faculty Orientation Programme for Quality Enhancement in Learning and Teaching 2023" on 01 August, 2023.
Prof (Dr) Sonal Sharma, Dean, USCS, extended a warm welcome to the new faculty members. She addressed the new faculty members about the university as well as the school with perspectives on its vision, mission & objectives. She assured her full support and encouragement in achieving the collective mission of the Uttaranchal School of Computing Sciences. Mr Amarjeet Rawat, Head, Criteria 2 discussed about documentation of the course file and its importance for curriculum aspects. Mr Dharmendar Kumar, Examination in-charge elaborated on the examination and evaluation scheme. Mr Praveen Shah, Head, Criteria 5, discussed in detail the functionalities of ERP. Ms Manisha Khanduja, Head, Criteria 7 introduced different Clubs and Cells of USCS. Mr Ishteyaaq Ahmad, Head, Criteria 3 familiarized the new faculty members with the research collaborations and their benefits in academic profiles. Dr Monisha Awasthi, DIQAC, USCS briefed all NAAC Criteria’s and their functionalities.
The event was a great success with the support of Dr Sameer Dev Sharma Programme Coordinator, MCA, BSc IT. Mr Harshit Gupta, Assistant Professor USCS, proposed a vote of thanks to conclude the event.
