Fintech Club of Uttaranchal Institute of Management, Uttaranchal University, organized a successful event ofworkshop on Stock Trading and Technical Analysis on 27th and 28th March 2023, for the students and faculty members of Uttaranchal University.The inspiring financial planner and advisor Mr. Raj Pandey from Stockpe, India graced the event. The event commenced with Kulgeet and pious tradition of lamp lighting. After that Welcome speech for the guest speaker Mr. Raj Pandeydelivered by Ms. Neeti Misra, Head- Fintech Club, Assistant Professor, UIM, Uttaranchal University. The purpose of this workshop is to make participants aware about the stock trading and various tools of Technical analysis. Virtual trading was done and a game was organised by StockPe. The winners of the event were awarded with trophies, Mohd. Anas Raza, BBA IInd Year, UIM (winner), Rohit Kumar, BBA LLB, LCD (First runnerup).The event was graced with the presence of Prof. (Dr.) H.S Grewal (Director-UIM), Prof. (Dr.) Tilottama Singh (HOD-Management), The organizer of the event are Ms. Sakshi Sharma, Mr. Vasim Ahmed, Assistant Professor (UIM). The vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. Neeti Misra.
This workshop was conducted for the students of MBA, BBA and B.Com (Hons.), UIM and for other college students of Uttaranchal University.
Speaker Mr. Raj Pandey, Financial planner and advisor, Head of education, Stockpe India addressed about the various trends of the financial markets, also the bear and bull and Dow theory. Many other aspects of stock trading were mentioned by the guest. He is having 12 years of experience in different financial field and is associated with stock pe as a education head from last 10 years.
Prof. (Dr.) H.S Grewal also addressed and explained what Stock Trading is; he also talks about the importance of stock trading. He covered concept related to Stock Market and threw light on increasing trend of live and virtual trading.He emphasizedthat session will be fruitful so he suggested all the participants to take the most out of it. Complete focus of workshop was based on learning live trading and how to choose the investment portfolio out of various stocks and shares.
Mr. Raj Pandey talks about the Myths of the stock market as the youth is not literate about the financial market. He makes student aware about the market with the help of Japanese candle stick Chart and Dow theory.He focuses more on technical analysis of market that what are the bullish and bearish trends and how the market react to these trends.
He makes the session interesting and more interactive by teaching students how to do live trading and the students gained the knowledge about the market. The day was successfully concluded with Rastrageet.
