The PG/UG students of Uttaranchal School Of Computing Sciences, Uttaranchal University were taken for an “Educational Tour For Ecological Survey To Manali” from 25th March 2023 to 29th March 2023. All the students were very excited and left the campus for Manali on 25th March 2023 at 5:00 pm by bus. Eco-tourism is the focus of the trip. Being aware of one's surroundings and the need to protect the environment and the local culture are key components of eco-tourism. The objective of the tour was to take pleasure in Manali’s healthy and beautiful natural landscapes, research the environmental conservation efforts made by Manali, Himachal Pradesh's various eco-tourism sites.
The presence of Dean Prof. (Dr.) Sonal Sharma during departure was taken as blessing for the journey. It was very comforting with a beautiful ambience the location was awesome the view from the rooms was so beautiful and eye-pleasing, everything was so much well organized and perfect.
The group was taken for local sightseeing, visiting temples (Manu temple, Hadimba temple), biological gardens and markets. They were also taken to Atal Tunnel, the longest tunnel, Sissu Lake and Solang Valley. All of the students took part in thrilling sports like paragliding, zip lining, yak riding, skiing and many more while taking in the enchanting beauty of the valley. During this visit, Students learned about Kullu Manali's culture and effective methods for preserving the environment. This outing also taught the students how to mix their studies and extracurricular interests to promote their overall development. On March 29, 2023, all arrived at Dehradun after completing this exciting journey.
