With an intend to bolster the growth of the Students and to familiarise them with the future prospects of Digital Marketing, Uttaranchal Institute of Management (UIM), Uttaranchal University, organised anonlineNational webinar on the topic “Future Career Prospects of Digital Marketing” on December 2nd, 2022. This program was an endeavour to deeply enrich the knowledge of all participants and provide them withcareer insights on Digital Marketing with specific reference to the Insurance industry.
The session was held on 2nd December 2022 at 3.00p.m.Mr. Aftab Siddiqui is the National head, Internet Marketing at Royal Sundaram General Insurance Limitedwas present as the Keynote Speaker on the occasion while the Director of UIM,Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Suri wasamong the other distinguished guests.
At the outset, Dean, UIM, Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Suri addressed thegathering and welcomed the eminent keynote speaker of the day. He stated that while traditional marketing still has its place in the world, Digital marketing is quickly taking over, Thanks to affordability and analytics. He reiterated the benefit the students will acquire from the immense and versatile knowledge domain and experience ofMr. Aftab Siddiqui. Sir emphasized upon the prospects of digital marketing giving example of Insurance industry.
The SpeakerMr. Aftab Siddiqui imparted knowledge to the students and focused on various key points during the session which are as follows:
- Mr. Aftab Siddiqui emphasized the various techniques of digital marketing.
- Discussing on the Royal Sundaram General Insurance Limited in particular, he spoke about the various opportunities Digital Marketing holds in the coming future. He also emphasized on how the digital marketers keep an eye on search engine optimization and keep a track on how it affects the website rankings.
- He further shared with students how digital Marketing plays a significant role in decisions being taken in the service industry.
At last vote of thanks to all the eminent resource persons, dignitaries, technical and supportive team and participants was proposed by Dr. Tillotama Singh, HOD Management.
