Uttaranchal School of Hotel & Hospitality
Management (USHHM), Uttaranchal University, Dehradun organized its first alumni
meet on 24 November 2022 for the students of batch-2018-22.
The planned objective was to interact with the alumni,
planning future events in the department. The
meet brewed a concoction of emotions, as nostalgia, camaraderie, respect, and
resolve filled the room.
The session
began at 03:30 pm with a welcome speech given by Mr. Manish Badoni, Principal,
USHHM. All other faculty & staff members addressed the students and follow up
with the students who were sharing their thoughts and experiences. Mr. Manish Badoni, graced the occasion along with all the
present faculty.
The Alumni, Mr Abhishek Rajput, Ms. Priya Rawat and
Mr Mohd. Salman expressed their feelings and journey. Mr Abhishek Rajpoot
thanked the University and the college profusely. He discussed the opportunities
and scope of the hospitality industry. Mr. Mohd. Salman, on the other hand,
shared her experiences both inside and outside of Uttaranchal University and
USHHM. Ms. Priya Rawat gave a session about hospitality rules and regulations.
They discussed their beautiful college days at USHHM and interacted with the faculty members and with their friends. They also insisted and requested to have this type of Alumni Meet every year without fail. The event was stimulating and enjoyable and simultaneously profitable as all members shared their views ideate and a good number of new ideas, information, and insights came up. The students sincerely expressed their gratitude to the faculty members for their guidance and support during their 4 years course and the event was a grand success. The vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. Abhishek Negi, Alumni Coordinator of the department.
