Education plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of any society. However, millions of children worldwide are denied access to quality education due to various barriers. Recognizing the importance of child education and the need to address these challenges, an awareness rally was organized on 11th November 2022, under the banner of "NSS unit of Uttaranchal university." the essence of the rally and highlights its significance in promoting child education.
The primary objective of the awareness rally on Child Education was to raise awareness about the importance of education for all children and advocate for the removal of barriers that hinder their access to quality education. By mobilizing communities and stakeholders, the rally aimed to ignite a collective sense of responsibility and commitment towards ensuring every child's right to education.
Prof. VK Srivastava, (Programme officer of NSS) and Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma were the rally coordinators. 200 NSS volunteers participated in total in the rally. The rally was held across the nanda ki chowki region while carrying banners. These banners contained messages such as "Girls are the pride of the nation," "If girls survive, the earth will survive," "Save Girl Child," "Educate Girl Child," "Beti Bachao Beti Padhao," etc. Mr. Jageshwar, Mr.praveen semwal and Mr. Gaurav Sigh Negi were also present in rally.
