School of Agriculture (SOA) celebrated Gandhiji and Shastriji Jayanti

 

School of Agriculture (SOA) celebrated Gandhiji and Shastriji Jayanti on 3rd October 2022 at 3:00 pm at the ground floor of Agriculture Block. Celebration was held to remember the teachings of these personalities ‘Father of Nation’ Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi and second Prime Minister of India Lal Bahadur Shastri. Event started with the beautiful introductory words by Ms. Isha Singh and Mr. Abhishek Singh of semester fifth. Prof. (Dr.) Mahipal Singh, Dean SOA welcomed all the attendees and enlightened on the lives of these personalities. Oath Ceremony was also held to bring patriotism and equality among all the faculty members and students. Students paid tribute through songs, speeches, poetries and dance performances. Day brought the memorable feelings in all the presents. To conclude the event Dr. Rajendra Prasad, HoD SOA proposed vote of thanks. Event was fully coordinated and managed by the students. HoD, SOA praised the effort of all the coordinators and persuaded to organize such events more in future.
