Law College Dehradun in association with the CRC Uttaranchal University organized an online Webinar with Mr. Gauhar Mirza, Partner, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas on the 15th of October 2022 through the online platform of Microsoft Teams on “Arbitration and IT Law”. The educational event threw light on the role of arbitration while providing an insight into the industry’s best practices in the field of Arbitration and IT Law thereby giving a practical understanding of the arbitration procedures.
International and domestic commercial arbitration and corporate litigation being the expertise of the speaker Mr. Gauhar Mirza partner at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas the event provided a birds eye view on the nuances of the practical aspects of the arbitration while he brought his practice and expertise in dealing with private and public corporations before various judicial fora and in ad hoc and institutional arbitrations in a wide range of disputes with respect to infrastructure and real estate industry, shareholders agreement, partnership deed, license agreements, land acquisition besides others to the forefront. With about 200 registered participants the event was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Rajesh Bahuguna, Pro Vice Chancellor, Uttaranchal University and Dean Law College Dehradun with his team of faculty members and Head of the Department of Law, Prof. Dr. Poonam Rawat.
