The Uttaranchal University Computer Science Club (UU-CSC) of the Uttaranchal Institute of Technology (UIT) successfully organized a Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) Workshop aimed at strengthening students’ conceptual understanding and enhancing logical and structured problem-solving skills. The workshop received an overwhelming response, with more than 300 registrations from UIT, other departments of the university and participants from other universities. Students from first, second, and third year actively participated, reflecting strong enthusiasm toward improving coding fundamentals and technical expertise.
The event was conducted under the guidance of esteemed faculty members and dignitaries, including Director UIT Prof. (Dr.) Sumit Chaudhary, First-Year HOD Prof. (Dr.) Sanjeev Shah, Dr. Pinki Chugh, Mr. Arun Kudiyal, Mr. Avinash Reddy, and Mr. Surya Raj Thirumurugan. The Faculty Coordinator of the UU-CSC Club, Ms. Roosha Shamoon, extended her continuous support and encouragement for the initiative. The technical session was delivered by Vansh Gambhir, who has successfully solved 980 plus problems on LeetCode and Vikas Gudi, dedicated student members of the UUCSC Club, who focused on building strong logical foundations, effective problem-solving approaches, time complexity analysis, structured coding practices and preparation strategies for technical interviews and competitive programming. The successful execution of the workshop highlighted the coordinated efforts of the UUCSC Club and the organizing team, making the event a meaningful and impactful academic initiative at UIT.
