Uttaranchal University, School of Hotel & Hospitality Management (USHHM), proudly participated in the prestigious “From Campus to Community – Antara’s Inter-University Culinary Exposure” held at Antara Purukul, Dehradun, on 15 & 16 September 2025.
The event provided hospitality students with a unique opportunity to collaborate with renowned chefs, engage with the vibrant resident community, and gain hands-on experience in a professional culinary environment. The Uttaranchal University team, comprising four students (two from Food Production and two from F&B Service), accompanied by a faculty member and led by Dr. Manish Badoni, Director, Uttaranchal School of Hotel & Hospitality Management, showcased their carefully curated Modern Indian Cuisine menu.
The students actively participated in structured menu planning, recipe documentation, kitchen familiarization, and live culinary presentations, effectively bridging academic learning with practical hospitality industry skills.

On their assigned showcase day, Uttaranchal University presented a Modern Indian Cuisine Menu featuring:
Soup: Kafuli Shorba
Starter: Iron Boost Ragi Wrap
Main Course: Tadka Jholi Fish, Jhingora Risotto
Dessert: Golden Brew Singori
Refresher Drink: Himalayan Blue Lagoon
Participants were awarded certificates, appreciation letters, and valuable career networking opportunities. Their contributions were also highlighted on Antara’s official social media platforms, opening pathways for internships and future collaborations.
The event reaffirmed Uttaranchal University’s commitment to providing experiential learning and professional exposure to hospitality students, equipping them with the skills necessary to excel in dynamic roles within the hospitality industry.
