Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS) and School of Liberal Arts (SLA), under the aegis of the Uttaranchal University Sports Committee, successfully organized the Intra Cricket Tournament and Intra Kabaddi League on the 3rd and 4th of April 2025. This grand sporting event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of various schools of Uttarakhand University, fostering a spirit of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
The opening ceremony of the tournament commenced on the university grounds with the welcoming of the honourable guests: Ms. Ankita Joshi, Vice President of Uttaranchal University; Prof. (Dr.) Dharam Buddhi, Vice Chancellor of Uttaranchal University; Prof. (Dr.) Shravan Kumar, Dean of Student Welfare; Prof. (Dr.) Vikash Jakhmola; and the Deans/Directors who graced the occasion.
The tournament provided an excellent platform for players to showcase their skills and competitive spirit. The Intra Cricket Tournament featured intense matches between teams, each demonstrating extraordinary teamwork and talent. Meanwhile, the Intra Kabaddi League was characterized by sheer strength, strategy, and determination, keeping the spectators on the edge of their seats.
The tournament concluded with an award distribution ceremony, where winners and participants were recognized for their hard work and dedication. The honorable guests commended the organizing team and motivated students to continue excelling in their respective sports.
The Intra University Cricket & Kabaddi Tournament not only provided an opportunity for students to compete but also strengthened the camaraderie among institutes, making this event a memorable one.
