On 5 September 2024 Cultural Club, UIM, Uttaranchal University hosted a grand Teachers’ Day celebration, organized by the students to express their deep gratitude and appreciation for their esteemed faculty. The celebration kicked off with a warm welcome and a speech expressing gratitude toward the faculty members followed by a series of performances that kept the audience enthralled throughout. The students expressed their creativity through a variety of acts, including mesmerizing dance performances that ranged from classical forms to energetic modern styles. The musical segment brought a soulful vibe to the celebration, with students performing both solo and group songs that echoed emotions of respect and gratitude. The faculty members were visibly touched by the performances and the students' efforts were greatly appreciated.
Towards the end of the celebration, the students added an extra layer of excitement by organizing fun-filled games and a ramp walk for the faculty members, creating a delightful and entertaining atmosphere. The fun games, specifically designed to engage and amuse the teachers, saw active participation from the faculty. The highlight of this concluding section was the ramp walk organized for the teachers. The ramp walk was a perfect blend of fun and admiration, as students celebrated their teachers with applause and cheers, making them feel special and appreciated.
The successful Teachers’ Day celebration was organized by Dr Sonakshi Bhatia, Head- Cultural Club, UIM and team members Dr Babita Rawat, Dr Megha Aggarwal, Mr Rohit Dhyani, Mr Manish Badoni, Mr Naved Mirza, along with student committee, under the leadership and guidance of Prof (Dr) Pradeep Suri, Director, UIM and Dr Tilottama Singh, HoD, UIM. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms Jagriti, student coordinator cultural Club, UIM.
