The School of Applied & Life Sciences of Uttaranchal University has collaborated with Bisleri International Private Limited for skill enhancement & outcome-based training with research activities. MOU was signed by Mr Byju Kurian- Head, North CSR, Bisleri Int. Pvt. Ltd.) and Mr Keshav Sikdar, CSR Professional, Bisleri in the presence of President Shri Jitender Joshi & Director of School of Applied & Life Sciences- Prof Singh. Objective of MOU is to help in corporate social activities like Plastic Management, Water Protection etc and involve students for various environmental activities.
The seminar was started by lamp lighting and then Prof. Ajay Singh gave his insights into waste management practices in his welcome address. Mr. Byju Kurian discussed the mission of Bisleri Company and discussed various schemes being carried by them for a better future for India. The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Dr Sadhna Awasthi. Dr Nishesh Sharma, Dr V K Srivastava, Dr Shivam Pandey and Mr Yogesh Awasthi were also present. More than 150 students from the Environment Club (Eco Club) were present.
