Uttaranchal School of Computing Sciences in association with CRC Uttaranchal University, organized a Guest Lecture on "HR Insights for Career Growth" on 13 August 2024 for the fresher students.
The objective of the guest lecture was to enhance students' understanding of the recruitment process at leading global firms, offering strategies to stand out in competitive job markets. The guest speaker of the event was Mr Rajat Rawat, Recruiter at McKinsey.
Prof (Dr) Sonal Sharma, Dean, USCS, Dr Sameer Dev Sharma, HoD, USCS and Mr Arun Godiyal, Director, CRC graced the occasion.
Prof (Dr) Sonal Sharma addressed the students, encouraging them to always expand their skill sets, keep up with industry developments, and actively look for opportunities for career progression. She encouraged students to explore all opportunities that come their way.
Mr Rajat Rawat, explained how to use your skills. He encouraged students to work on your unique skills and weak areas. He discussed the elements for consistent growth, like Smart Hard work, staying focused and passionate.
Students' questions about their career opportunities were successfully addressed during the event. The seamless event coordinated under the guidance of Dr Sameer Dev Sharma with the support of Ms Manisha Saini, Ms Manisha Khanduja, Mr Praveen Shah, Ms Divya Rawat and technical staff.
