During the World Space Week celebration, Akash Mahotsav, The Department of Aerospace Engineering held a Drone flying competition on 04 October 2023. Teams from various institutions and universities participated in the competition. The contestants were asked to fly the drone with the maneuvering, first to follow the pattern of a square, then a circle, cross some hurdles designed for the competition and lastly an infinite symbol with their drones. The student at Uttaranchal University Mr Shubham Kala emerged as the winner of the competition.
