The Aeronoids club, under the aegis of the Aerospace Engineering Department, Uttaranchal Institute of Technology, Uttaranchal University, organized a rocketry workshop on rockets 06 October 2023 as part of Akash Mahotsav, the celebration of World Space Week. Participating in the competition were teams from several institutions and universities. Mr. Shubhadra and Mr. Adwaith Sidhana, co-founders of Thrust Tech India Pvt. Ltd, headed the workshop. Using the Open Rocket program, they demonstrate to the participants how rockets are designed and how their angle geometry works. After that, demonstrations and practical assemblies were done in the UIT building. Every participant benefited from the workshop in terms of rocket design, stability and basic concepts. All the rockets were successfully designed and assembled.
