Uttaranchal School of Computing Sciences (USCS) in collaboration with IDP-International Education Specialists hosted a significant one-day international education fair at Hotel Ramada, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, on August 18, 2023. The event, guided by Prof. (Dr.) Sonal Sharma, Dean of USCS, and Dr. Sameer Dev Sharma, Head of the Department, witnessed an enthusiastic turnout from students across various faculties, including USCS, Uttaranchal School of Applied and Life Sciences, and Uttaranchal College of Nursing.
Dr. Meera Sharma and Mr. Ashish Bhatt, faculty members of USCS, accompanied over 70 students, collectively aiming to shed light on crucial international education aspects such as health coverage, banking, money transfers, accommodation, and education loans.
Ankur Gusain from IDP and his team engaged the students, offering insights into global educational opportunities. Students had the unique chance to interact with representatives from esteemed universities and institutions in the UK, USA, Australia, Canada, and Ireland, all within the same venue.
The event, meticulously organized by Ms. Manisha Khanduja and Ms. Manisha Saini, Assistant Professors at USCS, proved instrumental in broadening the horizons of the participating students. They left with a wealth of knowledge about international education possibilities, all conveniently accessible under one roof. This fair marked a significant step in empowering students to pursue their academic dreams on a global scale.
