The Uttaranchal School of Hotel & Hospitality Management (USHHM), in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Uttaranchal University, organized an extensive four-day Staff Development Program (SDP). The event took place from June 27 to June 30, 2023, and featured various sessions dedicated to enhancing the abilities of the university's workforce across different departments. The main objective of the program was to equip staff members with valuable skills, knowledge, and resources to enhance their professional growth and achievements in both their workplace and personal lives.
The event was formally concluded with the auspicious lighting of the lamp by Chancellor, Shri Jitender Joshi, Uttaranchal University, Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Dharam Buddhi, Principal, USHHM, Mr. Manish Badoni, Director, IQAC- Er. Rajesh Deorari, Team IQAC, Dean School of Liberal Arts cum DSW, Prof. (Dr.) Shravan Kumar, Head CRC, Mr. Iqbal Singh Sawhney, and many other faculty members and staff from various schools and division. The efforts put in by IQAC in collaboration with Uttaranchal School of Hotel & Hospitality Management were recognized and appreciated by higher management of the University.
The overall event was skillfully compered by Mrs. Sapna Bisht, Assistant Professor from the School of Hotel & Hospitality Management. The coordination and extended support throughout the event were efficiently provided by Team IQAC, especially Mr. Rishi Dev Nautiyal & Mr. Sudhir Jugran, the Assistant Managers at IQAC, UU. Mrs. Setu Sharma, Assistant Professor at the School of Hotel & Hospitality Management, provided comprehensive support in coordinating the valedictory session.
The program exemplified Uttaranchal University's commitment to continuous learning and professional growth, ensuring exceptional service and support for the diverse academic community. The valedictory session on July 11, 2023 concluded with a vote of thanks from Mr. Manish Badoni, Principal USHHM, to all dignitaries, experts, and participants. Certificates were distributed to approximately 170+ participants, resource persons, and conveners, recognizing their successful contribution & completion of the program.
