Biogenerika club of School of Applied and Life Sciences organized a webinar on Cancer prevention and diagnostics on 4 Feb, 2023.The objective of the webinar was to create awareness about preventive measures and cancer diagnosis. The event was organized in association with DNALabs Dehradun. Ms. Ankita Singh, Scientist from DNALabs in her invited talk, provided technical details about advancement in diagnostics techniques related to cancer diagnosis. Dr. Monika Singh in her talk briefed about different preventive measures pertaining to cancer including healthy lifestyle. The event was hosted by Dr. Minakshi Rajput, along with the support of Dr. Farha Maarfi and Dr. Himani Badoni. Prof. Dr. Ajay Singh, Dean Applied science and Research, in his address emphasized on scientific studies to develop methods for early cancer diagnosis. In his address Prof. Ajay Singh highlighted the significance of organizing such awareness program. The webinar was concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Nishesh Sharma.
