USHHM Hosts “The Vault of Flavors” Mixology Workshop to Ignite Beverage Innovation

On 31st October 2025, the Uttaranchal School of Hotel & Hospitality Management (USHHM) stirred creativity and technical finesse with its one-day workshop titled “The Vault of Flavors.” Designed to enhance students’ understanding of beverage artistry, the event seamlessly blended hands-on learning with expert insights into mixology. 

The workshop began with a warm welcome by Mr. Mukesh Dabral, Assistant Professor at USHHM, setting the tone for an engaging experience. Mr. Vijay Pant, Assistant Professor, highlighted the growing importance of innovation in beverage preparation and its influence on the hospitality industry. His address encouraged students to move beyond traditional recipes and embrace creative experimentation. 

A captivating demonstration session led by Ms. Neha Minocha, Assistant Professor, showcased the art of crafting classic cocktails and mocktails such as Bloody Mary, Screwdriver, Blue Lagoon, Whisky Sour, Irish Coffee, Negroni, Virgin Mojito, Piña Colada, Pink Lady, and others. She emphasized the bartender’s crucial role in shaping guest experiences and shared valuable insights on ingredient selection, flavor balancing, and presentation techniques. Her interactive approach allowed students to observe the finer details of mixing methods and understand the unique flavor profiles of each beverage. 

The event was graced by Prof. (Dr.) Manish Badoni, Director of USHHM, who applauded the initiative and felicitated the team for nurturing industry-relevant skills among budding hospitality professionals.
