‘Collaborative Research through Advanced Tools, Techniques, and Cases: Building Sustainable Research Pathways’

Uttaranchal Institute of Management of Uttaranchal University inaugurated International Faculty Development Program, titled, “Collaborative Research through Advanced Tools, Techniques, and Cases: Building Sustainable Research Pathways” on 01 July 2024. The program took place from 1 July 2024 to 9 July 2024. The FDP showcased the vision of Shri Jitender Joshi, President, Uttaranchal University, who always encourages his faculty members to enhance research capabilities through comprehensive training and who has always been in favour of promoting interdisciplinary collaboration 

The FDP began with the insightful session of Dr Raman Nautiyal, a proficient academician, Founder of EV Research, and a renowned scientist with over 21 years of experience at the Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education. Dr Nautiyal commenced his sessions by emphasizing on the complexities of research preparation and the critical components of formatting research papers. Participants in this FDP were taught about many advanced research tools and techniques to effectively utilize both qualitative and quantitative approaches and stay updated ed with the latest methodologies and skills to enhance research quality and innovation. Participants also learned about advanced research tools that are essential for data analysis and interpretation.  

Following Dr Raman Nautiyal, Mr Quazi Tafsirul Islam, a renowned researcher, and a dedicated Faculty Member at North South University in Bangladesh, took sessions to share his knowledge of case study analysis, drawing impactful conclusions, and developing effective case studies. His sessions were highly interactive, providing participants with practical knowledge and skills to improve their approach to industrial research. Attendees particularly appreciated Mr. Islam's emphasis on generating meaningful insights and effectively presenting them. 

Both the resource persons conducted Q&A rounds at the end of each session. The Faculty Development Program was regarded as a huge success, providing them members with the skills they needed to advance their research and academic careers.
