Uttaranchal Institute of Technology, under the esteemed umbrella of Uttaranchal University, spearheaded a pivotal Webinar on 10 May 2024, delving into the critical theme of "Sustainability of Exploration & Propulsion Systems." This significant event served as a beacon of knowledge and collaboration, drawing attention to the pressing need for sustainable practices in the aerospace domain.
Prof (Dr) Antonella Ingenito from Sapienza University of Rome, Italy, graced the occasion as the keynote speaker. With erudition and insight, she illuminated the audience on the potential of hydrogen peroxide as a sustainable propellant. Emphasizing its accessibility and affordability, Prof. Ingenito underscored the transformative impact that adopting such environmentally friendly alternatives could have on the aerospace industry's ecological footprint.
The webinar provided a platform for faculty, researchers, and students to engage in meaningful discourse on the future of propulsion systems. Prof (Dr) S D Pandey, Dean UIT, along with Dr Sachin Srivastava, Head, Aerospace Engineering department, and other departmental heads, lent their expertise to enriching discussions.
