The School of Liberal Arts has organized a workshop titled "Innovative Approaches of Therapy and Productive Skills for the Students of Psychology" on 19th March 2024 which aimed to provide students of psychology with insights into modern therapeutic approaches and equip them with productive skills essential for their professional growth.
The event commenced with an introduction by the organizing committee, outlining the significance of exploring innovative therapy techniques and honing productive skills in the field of psychology. The session featured a stimulating start by Ms Neetika Rautela, an academia expert. Ms Rautela emphasized on the essential qualities to be a mental health professional.
Furthermore, Dr Brij Mohan Sharma, guest speaker of the day shared his insights and idea of introducing the concept of weekend school of therapy for the children suffering from ADHD, Autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders to make them learn the life skills. Engaging discussions and interactive exchanges provided students with a comprehensive understanding of various therapeutic frameworks and their applications in real-world scenarios. Throughout the event, interactive Q&A sessions facilitated meaningful dialogue between students and experts, allowing for the clarification of doubts and the exploration of nuanced topics. Students enthusiastically posed questions, demonstrating their eagerness to delve deeper into the subject matter and glean insights from seasoned professionals.
