Hands on Workshop on Innovation and Research

 

Research and Innovation Club, Uttaranchal Institute of Management, Uttaranchal University under the aegis of Department of Research and Innovation, Uttaranchal University, organized a workshop from 13 September to 15 September 2023. The first day inaugural session and technical session was conducted in UIM seminar hall. Prof (Dr) Rajesh Singh, Director of Department of research, innovation, and Prof (Dr) Anita Gehlot, HoD, Department of Research and Innovation of Uttaranchal University commenced the session with the valuable information for the students that would help them to grow in research field soon. Prof (Dr) Pradeep Suri, Dean, UIM, graced the event with his presence and motivated the students to participate with zest and confidence. He focused on the role of innovation in the business era.  He motivated the students to participate in research work. They would get exposure to new ideas with the help of technology. This workshop had encouraged students and faculty members to explore their new ideas, technology collaboration and encourage them to strive for excellence, and students, open new vistas in life, and foster care and development.   

Capt. Rakesh Kumar, Head of Research and Innovation Club, UIM planned and executed the entire event along with the other members of the Research and Innovation club UIM. Around 18 ideas were submitted for patent. Towards the end the vote of thanks was proposed by Dr Tilottama Singh, HoD, UIM. 36 Students and 12 members of faculty participated in the workshop. Seven patents were proposed to be registered during the workshop.
