Law College Dehradun organised an illuminating alumni talk titled "Salient Features of Constitution of Nepal" on 20 September 2023, on Constitution Day of Nepal. This insightful online event featured our esteemed alumni guest speaker, Mr. Jivesh Jha, LL.M. (Batch:2017-18), who is serving as a Judicial Officer in Nepal. Dean, Law College Dehradun and Pro Vice Chancellor, Uttaranchal University Prof. Rajesh Bahuguna and Principal and Head, Prof. Poonam Rawat extended their warm welcome to Mr. Jivesh Jha who played a pivotal role in setting the tone for the event through his insights and expertise in the field. The entire event was hosted by Ms. Garima Chuphal, Assistant Professor, Law College Dehradun. This event served as a bridge for promoting cross-cultural understanding and strengthening historical bonds between India and Nepal. It fostered a sense of shared democratic values between the two nations, particularly relevant for Indian law students aspiring to engage in international law or collaborate with Nepali clients.
