Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Uttaranchal University, Dehradun organized an Industrial visit to Daffohils Laboratories Private Limited, Dehradun, Uttarakhand on 15 April 2023. A total of 12 students of D Pharm I year visited the company.
The objective of the visit was to give students insight into how companies operate. The QA manager interacted with the students and explained the working culture of the industry. During the visit, the students visited the production unit, QA, QC, packaging unit, and warehouse department of the industry under the guidance of the QA manager. Students were explained about the dispensing area, granulation process, compression process, and coating of tablets, and provided knowledge about different other dosage forms like ointment, creams, and syrups. The visit to the company was very fruitful as the students got a good knowledge of the process of production in the industry from the experts.
The students interacted with HR manager Gaurav Chamoli to understand different departments and processes of pharma industries with novel approaches.
The visit proved to be extremely beneficial for the students as it provided information about the whole manufacturing process of the liquid dosage form and very closely interacted with the experts and learn some technical handling of the formulation during manufacturing and packaging. The students extended their gratitude to Chancellor, Shri Jitender Joshi, Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Dharam Buddhi, and Dean UIPS, Prof. (Dr.) Vikash Jakhmola for facilitating the organization of the visit. The industrial visit was coordinated by Mrs Srishti Morris.
