Induction and Orientation Programme for the students of School of Applied and Life Sciences is being organized from 1 September to 17 September 2022. This Programme will be helpful in easing the transition of students from school to college life or from UG to PG.

On the very first day, a warm welcome was given to all the new students of  Batch 2022-2023 by the members of School of Applied and Life Sciences. Students were brought from administrative block, hostels etc. by the assigned faculty to SALS Block. A ‘We Care for You’ helpdesk was set up for all the new entrants to guide them to their respective classrooms where they interacted with their Mentors. They also filled the Mentor forms. 

All the freshers of B.Sc Hons.  Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Food Technology, Biotechnology, Microbiology and CBZ along with M.Sc. Students of Chemistry, IC, Botany, Zoology, EVS, Food Technology, FND, Biotechnology and Microbiology were then asked to join Nutrition Week celebration. 

Dean SALS, Prof. Dr. Ajay Singh then gave a warm welcome to all the first year students and introduced them to Heads/ Coordinators and faculty members of various departments. He further told the students to study hard and also participate in various activities which will be held from time to time in the School and University

The 15 day Induction cum Orientation programme scheduled for the students of SALS, will witness, Educational and Industrial Visits, Extension activity. Yoga session and a expert lecture on Human Values along with sports and cultural activities.
