The Competition Preparation Cell of Uttaranchal Institute of Management organized a “Mock Interview Session”

The Competition Preparation Cell of Uttaranchal Institute of Management, Uttaranchal University, organized a “Mock Interview Session” for MBA final-year students on 11 October 2024, aimed at enhancing their industry readiness. 

The event began with the address of Dr Mobin Anwar, Assistant Professor, UIM, who provided an overview, emphasizing that the session is an opportunity for students to identify areas for improvement rather than face criticism. A panel of interviewers, including Dr Megha Aggarwal, Dr Bipin Kandpal, Mr Anirudh Arora, and Ms Jiwanjot Kaur Hira, assessed students on various competencies such as selling skills, scenario-based responses, communication, and problem-solving abilities. 

Dr Megha Aggarwal stressed the importance of aligning one’s knowledge and skills with a company's mission and vision, highlighting the significance of body language, voice modulation, and mental presence. Dr Bipin Kandpal emphasized the importance of positive body language, advising students to smile and maintain composure while preparing for potential stress during interviews. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr Mohd Amir, Head of the Competition Preparation Cell, who praised the members of Jury and students for their engagement.
