National Vaccination Day 2023

Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences Dehradun, Uttaranchal University, Pharmacology club organized an Awareness Camp on National Vaccination Day 2023 in Government Upper Primary School, Panditwari, Dehradun on 16/03/2023. The Camp was conceptualized and conducted under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Vikash Jakhmola, Dean, UIPS, Dr. Tarun Parashar, HoD, UIPS and Camp was coordinated by Dr. Ankit Sharma, Assistant Professor, UIPS, Mrs. Nidhi Gairola, Assistant Professor, UIPS, Mrs. Pallavi Ghildiyal, Assistant Professor, UIPS and Mrs. Shilpa Rana, Assistant Professor, UIPS with Nupur Kataria, Anjali Tiwari, Vikrant and Vikas Kumar as the student member.

During the camp the students of the school was told that the purpose of National Vaccination Day is to recognize and show appreciation for the dedication of front line health care workers who works to guarantee that every kids receives vaccination. The students were made aware of different types of vaccines like polio, diphtheria, tetanus and about the importance of Immunization that it is an easy, secure and reliable method of preventing hazardous infections. About 46 number of students of the school attended the camp. The event ends up with vote of thanks by Principle Mrs. Savita Saklani towards Honorable Chancellor Shri Jitender Joshi, Honorable Vice Chancellor Prof.( Dr.) Dharm Buddhi, Dean of UIPS Dr. Vikash Jakhmola, event coordinators Dr. Ankit Sharma, Mrs. Nidhi Gairola, Mrs. Pallavi Ghildiyal and Mrs. Shilpa Rana, Assistant Professor, UIPS and Students of UIPS for the successful organization of event.
